Welcome to Car’s Bakehouse! I’m Carmen, aka Car, born and raised in Los Angeles and currently living in Orange County, CA.

I have always had a love of creating in the kitchen. Growing up, my mom was always cooking and baking for our family and friends, and even built her own successful catering company. I learned so much being in the kitchen with my mom and was inspired enough to attend professional baking school where I earned my diploma in Baking & Pastry.

I decided I wanted to make something of my own, with my own rules, at my own pace and after many years of marinating on my next steps, I created Car’s Bakehouse. A page solely focused on my homemade bakes. Here you can find some recipes that I have tweaked to make my own! Thanks for being here! 🙂
